After buying a few of Sam Siv’s other wedding planning books, this book was a must-have to help us finalize the honeymoon plans. The author delves deep into the basics and planning of picking the right place, taking into consideration having a budget. From the planning stage to the day you pack your bags, this will be an excellent reference for my friend. The biggest decision that we took from the book was that the honeymoon was going to be in Europe. You can’t go wrong with a traditional honeymoon in Paris! Surprisingly thin, limited. It was part of an engagement gift to go with a card. It focuses on world travel ... to far flung exotic places. Had a few basic do's/don'ts ... found it very very basic. With all the fabulous websites these days, a bit too general, lacking. Emphasizes the importance of this intimate time together as a couple, which was good. And notice to the groom who is planning a "surprise" destination for his bride! Make sure her sister or a girl friend packs for her. Yikes. I would definitely suggest that.

The book also opened my eyes to the behaviours expected from me and my spouse. This is really a good book to consider when planning your honeymoon.
